Tom Remon and David Lyttle join forces to explore the lesser tried guitar & drums duo format. Playing jazz standards and originals, the two have already toured the UK three times, and have Also performed in Poland and Morocco and are to do a European tour in early October 2023
Tom Remon is a guitarist who cut his teeth with the Tomorrow’s Warriors, and made an impressive debut recording with UK jazz hero guitarist, Jim Mullen. Tom has also recorded, toured and performed with Neil Yates, Soweto Kinch, Jonathan Gee, Steve Williamson, Sid Jacobs & Gary Crosby, and has three albums out as a leader, two out on Independent record label Lunaria Records and the most recent one out on David Lyttle’s Lyte Records.
MOBO Award-nominee David Lyttle is a drummer & composer from Ireland, who started out in the band of guitar legend Louis Stewart and has gone on to perform in over 25 countries, including the Middle East and SE Asia. He has collaborated with a long list of icons, from Joe Lovano to Kurt Rosenwinkel, and performed in the groups of Jesse van Ruller, David Kikoski and Soweto Kinch. His crossover projects have featured Talib Kweli and Liam Neeson, and his ambitious artist residencies include a US coast-to-coast road trip performing for subculture audiences ranging from bikers in California to UFO tourists near Area 51.
